Zenith Digital GO LARGE with HP Latex Printers

With increasing workload, our display division have purchased four large format HP printers at our Pontypool base which will increase capacity and output high end graphics across the display spectrum. They arrive as being one of the first to be installed in the UK and with a vast improvement on the existing UV printers with the colour much more vibrant.

The super wide HP Latex 1500 Printer not only arrives with increased output size and speed but also with an environmental certification, helping our customers with their core values and goals to maintaining sustainability. With water-based HP Latex inks eliminating exposure to high solvent concentrations, the odour free inks produce sublime print results across the various media types including:

  • Outdoor and event banners

  • Self-adhesive vinyls for vehicle, floor and window graphics

  • Backlit film

  • Papers for point of purchase posters

  • Wall-coverings and window blinds

  • Canvas

  • Mesh and porous textiles

Alongside the HP Latex 1500, we have also added the HP Latex R2000 to our armoury. Equipped with white latex, we can produce the glossiest whites on transparent and coloured media. Not only that, the stunning large format graphics resists yellowing over time! We also have the advantage of producing graphics on any of the following substrates:

  • Rigid substrates:

  • Paper foamboard

  • Plastic foamboard

  • PVC foam

  • Plastic corrugated

  • Acrylic

  • Polycarbonate

  • Polystyrene

  • Compressed cardboard

  • Corrugated board

  • Honeycomb board

  • Aluminum composite panel

  • Wood

  • Glass

  • Ceramic

  • Roll substrates:

  • PVC banner

  • Self-adhesive vinyl

  • Coated paper

  • Polypropylene

  • Polystyrene

  • Polycarbonate

  • Polyester

  • Textile (non-porous)

  • Canvas

With delivery last week of these state-of-the-art large format HP latex printers at our Pontypool base, we caught up with our Digital Managing Director, on his thoughts about how this will evolve our company moving forward.

He says “Within a competitive market, we didn’t want to stand still and when we were given a demonstration of what the HP large format printers could achieve, we were excited with the creative possibilities that we could offer our valued customers.

The ability to output high end graphics on various substrates whilst producing the glossiest whites which will stand the test of time is a focus of most requirements in the modern era and with this sound investment, Zenith can build on its already solid reputation within the print and display sector.

The environmental aspect was also important to us as a division and the Group as a whole. With the inks being water based, Zenith can offer ‘green’ solutions without compromising on print quality.

I’m extremely excited by this investment and the ability to offer our growing client list this perfect solution for all their display work moving forward will be a real game changer.” He adds.
